Paper Title: Compute Express Link (CXL): Enhancing Integrity and Data Encryption

Paper Abstract: The importance of data security and protection in computing environments is increasing. The Compute Express Link (CXL) specification enhances security capabilities by introducing link-level Integrity and Data Encryption (CXL IDE) to provide confidentiality, integrity and replay protection for data transiting the CXL link. The specification also supports device attestation/authentication and key exchange protocols for both CXL.io and CXL.mem. This presentation will explore the great progress CXL has made in security by working collaboratively with other industry-standard bodies such as PCI-SIG and DMTF to ensure a seamless user experience with the best security mechanisms.
