Organizer: Milind Weiling, Sr VP Programs and Operations, EMD Group

Paper Title: 3D Xpoint Optane Memory Markets. Bits, Revenue, Costs

Paper Abstract: Intel is selling its version of 3D XPoint (called Optane memory media) into applications like fast SSDs and DIMM memory modules and is working on both 2nd and 3rd generation of the technology. Micron is in early development and sampling on its technology. Products, technology, competition, costs are show as well as a detailed update on wafer capacity, bit growth, revenue and new technologies. We also show potential strategies for Micron and Intel to ramp this Phase change memory technology from both a fab supply and end market demand analysis
