Author 3 Bio: Jim Harris is a principal software engineer in Intel's Data Center Group and the chief software architect of Intel’s widely used Storage Performance Development Kit (SPDK). Jim was instrumental in starting the SPDK project over 6 years ago. He has over 20 years of computer industry experience and has spoken at past Flash Memory Summits, at the SPDK Summit, and at many other events. He earned an MS in computer science from Case Western Reserve University.
