SOFT-202-1: Key-Value Store and Linux Technologies (Software Track)
Paper Title: The Coming Revolution to Deploy Storage Processors for Application Acceleration

Paper Abstract: Lower flash storage pricing is driving faster adoption and higher densities, pushing the performance bottleneck to compute at a faster rate than ever. Cloud databases, metadata services and key value stores are critical to the user experience and are poised for an order of magnitude increase in price/performance and scaling from an emerging class of accelerators. Pliops will present results from the first generation acceleration product with a new architecture optimized for today’s flash based services.
