Paper Title: Data Orchestration for Kubernetes Stateful Tier-1 Primary Workloads
Paper Abstract: As Kubernetes is expanding to stateful workloads, there is a universal need to complement its application-driven compute orchestration with complementary data orchestration. Datera can automatically compose a broad spectrum of media technologies, from low-latency persistent memory to low-cost cold flash, into a tier-1 primary software-defined storage continuum that it delivers as a service through open-source contributions like its industry-standard Linux-IO storage stack. This presentation will examine the Datera datacenter-aware architecture, and how together with Kubernetes it transforms the datacenter from a system-defined to a service-defined operating model.
