Paper Title: Flash and NVM Technology Enabling AIoT

Paper Abstract: Nonvolatile memory (NVM), including NAND flash, NOR flash, and EEPROM, is an important section of the memory market. China has large programs focused on increasing the domestic production of NAND flash. However, emerging NVM technologies, such as MRAM, RRAM, and PCM, will be of increasing importance but there are no large companies pursuing them in China. Recently, new creative companies are starting and are building the ecosystem in China to develop such advanced NVM technologies. Opportunities developing in the area of AI for IoT (AIoT) will be examined.

Author Bio: Zhiqiang Su is Director of Strategic Marketing at GigaDevice Semiconductor. He won the first prize of Beijing Scientific and Technology Advance Award. He has established 2 national standards and has applied for over 120 patents in the memory field. His 15 years of memory design and development experience include positions as senior design manager, department manager, and senior design engineer at GigaDevice and he worked at Intel, Fudan Microelectronics. Su graduated from Fudan University.
