NVMF-302-1: Benefits and Use Cases for NVMe-oF (NVMe-oF Track)
Paper Title: Developing NVMe-oF Composable Infrastructure with Virtual All-Flash Appliances

Paper Abstract: Composable architectures are fast becoming the next step in application-centric provisioning of infrastructure resources, allowing users to provision what they need from a fluid pool including computing, storage, and fabrics. Composable infrastructures give users the ultimate flexibility for allocating infrastructure resources where they are needed, this increases operational efficiency by ensuring that resources are not wasted as the environment grows. Blending a composable infrastructure with an NVMeOF fabric will ensure ultra-fast performance and low latency and further increase the operational efficiency of the composable infrastructure by utilising the features of the NVMe platform such as NVMe namespaces. Using a proprietary data handling algorithm to control the software based NVMeOF appliance, it will be able to scale reliably and constantly with user demands, while offering a single point of management for the all virtual appliances and servers within the infrastructure.
