NVMF-301-1: Demystifying NVMe over Fabrics (NVMe-oF Track)
Paper Title: Designing Fabric accelerators for NVMe storage arrays by using MRAM

Paper Abstract: A new generation of networking devices over 25Gb speeds have made big advancements from the past. Now with advent of storage traffic running over NVMe fabrics, new methods have to be devised for keeping pace with market demands for lower latency and higher performance. Additionally, with new proposals for enabling Remote Persistent Memory workloads as well as RDMA flush transport, the need for rethinking fabric elements is even more critical. This presentation will help the designers of NVMe over Fabric solutions whether RoCE, TCP or Infiniband, to alleviate these situations by incorporating MRAM onto their designs. They will learn how to rethink designing fabric interfaces in storage arrays to eliminate the latency of data going through host memory and CPU. Instead committing writes on accelerators directly by using MRAM in their designs. Value: This presentation illustrates an innovative approach to designing NVMe over Fabric (RDMA or TCP) accelerators by utilizing MRAM
