Author Bio: Chris Dennett is a Sr Technical Staff Member at IBM, where he is the team leader and architect for all interfaces in IBM’s new Flashsystem. He has extensive experience with Fibre Channel, Infiniband, iSCSI, FCoE, and NVMe. He has architected and implemented NVMe over InfiniBand and NVMe over Fibre Channel for the Flashsystem, as well as leading the development of the NVMe interface on the internal FlashCore modules. A prolific inventor, he has a history of innovation and creativity. He has almost 20 years experience in the computer storage industry and earned a BS in computer engineering from Texas A&M University.
