Paper Title: What Industry Standard Self-Encrypting Storage is, and why it is Essential

Paper Abstract: The definition that the Drive Trust Alliance has for Self-Encrypting Storage Devices may be a bit surprising. The way it can be engineered for UFS and NVMe may also be a bit surprising. However, the case is strong for Industry Standard interfaces that are transparent and security-isolated from software operating systems is strong. This talk will concentrate on the arguments for understanding the customer value proposition for offering industry standard self-encrypting storage devices.
