Paper Title: The SNIA NVM Programming Model

Paper Abstract: The persistent memory revolution is driven by accelerated application adoption of new technology. The NVM Programming Model was created by SNIA to do just that by describing pervasive persistent memory hardware and software behaviors that applications can access through various OS specific APIs. As the programming model gains traction in the industry, SNIA has continued work on the programming model itself and related white papers. This talk highlights important new work on persistent memory libraries, flushing to local and remote persistence, and a new security threat model. Learn how the path is being paved to application adoption by removing barriers and advancing the state of the art in persistent memory access.
