Paper Title: China Flash Memory Technology and Market Landscape

Paper Abstract: The global storage industry is undergoing earth-shaking changes, and is preparing for explosive growth. The rapid development of cloud computing, big data, AI, and IoT technologies is bringing unprecedented demand for non-volatile memory. This is especially true in China's $120 billion market. Chinese storage companies, such as Tsinghua Unigroup, Yangtze Memory Technologies, Fujian Jinhua Integrated Circuit, Huawei, Inspur, Sugon, TOYOU, and MacroSAN Technology, have done a lot of work to promote the progress of flash memory technology and market development. In the global market, NAND suppliers Samsung, Micron, Toshiba, Western Digital, and Intel are expanding 3D NAND technology. However, the upgrade from 2D to 3D production lines involves a huge investment. Chinese storage companies will help speed up market development. This presentation will give the details and projections for the Chinese flash memory landscape for 2018 and beyond.
