Paper Title: State of the Fabric: NVMe-oF Interop Plugfest

Paper Abstract: UNH-IOL hosted a recent plugfest for NVMe-oF. A review of it offers insight into test cases and current compatibility issues. The plugfest, sponsored by NVM Express, Inc., creators of the NVMe and NVMe-oF standards, allows vendors to test against the NVMe-oF standard and qualify their products for the NVMe-oF integrators list.

Author Bio: Timothy Sheehan is a Manager of Datacenter Technologies at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL). He helps manage the Laboratory's Ethernet Switching, Fibre Channel, and NVMe efforts. Timothy has amassed 28 years of industry experience working as a software engineer at Raytheon and Lockheed Sanders, a managing software engineer at Cabletron Systems and Vitts Systems, and Principal Software Engineer with Sandial, Marconi, and Pannaway before moving to UNH-IOL. Timothy earned his BSEE from Norwich University. He now uses his years of industry experience to lead and educate the next generation of engineers working at UNH-IOL.
