Paper Title: Developing Low-Latency Data Services on NVMe-oF Shared Storage

Paper Abstract: NVMe-oF is rapidly becoming the industry standard for the storage infrastructure of next-generation data centers. Now how do we achieve the low-latency data services that installations demand in the new environment? Such services include redirect-on-write snapshot, fast clone, thin provisioning, thick provisioning, and even active-active failover. A new software-based NVMe-oF storage controller enables all the rich data services mentioned plus advanced data protection at a speed of 20M+ IOPS with additional latency overhead of less than 10 microseconds. It uses a proprietary algorithm to meet data-access demands efficiently and thus handle the stringent performance demands of mission-critical applications.
