Author Bio: Carlos Macian Ruiz is an ASIC System Architect at Marvell, where he words on finding, designing, or developing the right mix of technology, IP, and architecture required for customers’ cutting-edge ASICs. He has managed the design of 12 ASIC products across foundries at nodes ranging from 65 nm down to 5 nm. Before joining Marvell, he worked at Inphi and eSilicon and was a professor at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain. He is a frequent speaker/contributor to videos, publications, and conferences. He earned a PhD in computer networks at the University of Stuttgart (Germany).
